Chimeto Green Initiative is a man-made forest facility. It stands as a green revolution in these tough times of climate change. It’s a leading initiative in the afforestation programs country wide boasting of a 500-hectare future forest project.'

The initiative was developed to attain the following stated mission, vission and objectives below:
OUR MISSION
The mission is to restore, protect and care for the environment and sustain livelihoods in response to deforestation, land degradation and climate shocks
OUR VISION
The vision is to protect forests and the people dependent on them. We are striving for the world where forest ecosystems must be protected.
OUR OBJECTIVE
The objective is to restore the environment through establishing new forests, manage and protect them and its ecosystems to sustain our natural resources.
